How big is the Snowblind Map Pack download?

Anyone think this is a good idea?

Putting a 1-99 indication in the circle of how far a downed player is from your current location.

I think a lot more people would be helping each other out if they knew the guy is only a few yards away vs. 80 yards across the map.

I think it's about 90mb.

hey something wierd happend to me playing on the new snowblind maps i stared a game i ran got onto the back of the trailer where the tork bow is and i got stuck then turned and fell down thru the floor n was trapped in nothing for 2 or so minutes then i was killed some how then the lag started but my team won i think the italians on the other team were cheating or used a cheat or something has anything like this ever happend to any of you ?

Sounds like a glitch that is being exploited. I have not ran into cheating since the new update until last night. A member of my team was moving around in the running position hunched down. He was moving so fast. The other team could not kill him. I filed a complaint. I have never seen a game with GOW1&2 having so many cheating exploits. It really is incredible. As for you not turning them in. Did you log off of live or some thing? I turn them in right after the match is over.

That happens all the time to me. It's Epic and not them.

Anyone else here have their LE game disc crack from removing and putting back into the case? Mine started cracking awhile back and I downloaded it to my hard drive but now I cant use the disc to start the game from the hard drive so I had to drop another 60 for a new disc

At least I havent went through 4 discs like I did with Call of Duty 4

I think you have a problem with your xbox.

It's not specific to this title, but is more often a function of the packaging and how you're removing the disc from it. You need to be pressing down on the center ring of the packaging to release the DVD, rather than pulling the DVD up from the edges. Some games are more susceptible to damage from this than others (e.g. Call of Duty 4 or Call of Duty: World at War).

I thought I was lazy, for some time GoW2 was my most played game, but if I wanted to play another game, instead of putting the game back in its LE case, I'd put it inside the case of the game I was going to play. So if I was going to play Halo 3, the GoW2 disc was going inside Halo 3 case. That's because I thought it was too much work to open the LE case, the ones that have that case know what I'm talking about.

So, now after reading the previous posts, it seems it was a good decision. Finally my laziness is good for something.

Actually COD4 wasn't a LE, I just had a xbox that went on a game eating binge

I'm up to level 36. I have 1.7m in Annex points and it's taking forever to rank up. I think any level pass 30's it takes longer.

for the 11 unique kills, and the use all 15 weapons (missing 1), there is no way to tell which ones you did is there?

i should of kept track, but when i started (last week), i didnt know i had to or would want to.

^^ I don't think there is a way to know which one your missing.

No way to know; best to just go through each one, even if you "know" that you already used a given weapon or finishing move. Like most of the achievements in this category, I personally found it easiest to work through these in Horde mode, because you tend to wind up with a lot of different weapons over the course of many waves (depending on ammo availability).

Make sure you use all three pistols

This is one of the achievements that you can get the easy way. Just setup a match with bots (one) and then the weapon you want. That simple.

That's in training mode, or something like that.

got in in campaign mode. it was one of the sniper ones. i thought i had done them both, guess not.

Anyone been having crappy match connection quality lately? Seems like I've only been paired up against people from other countries lately. Games have been lagging really bad.

Epic turned off the region filter so it's back to its former pathetic laggy glory.

Everyone at Epic involved in the fiasco that is gears2 should commit seppuku.

Ouch. Well unless i can get some epic player matches going on, this game is going to be traded in.

It was laggy with or with out filters. Although, I have experiencing less lag lately. If they can just fix the host advantage. It is worst than part one.

I have noticed more lag than usual as well recently. I have also been very frustrated with the "invincibilty" which seems to be rampant in some matches. One guy the other night survived frags and mortar. Could not be killed. Don't know if that was host advantage or some other nonsense.
