I have Charter Cable in Otsego (close enough to St. Cloud). My charter office is in Buffalo.
Using Dvico FusionHDTV7 Tuner card, and Pinnacle PCTV Ultimate USB tuner for QAM reception. I subscribe to only the most basic cable package (1-25), but use my HTPC to receive the digital SD and HD channels (Cheating). I even get all the music channels. I get a few movie channels in SD and one porno channel that looks like someone is playing them from a VCR.
I hook my Hitachi HDTV up via DVI-HDMI Cable and the picture and sound is amazing! The HD shows, and big games are killer in 1080i. Wasn't a big TV watcher until I set this stuff up.
I also tune in OTA, but obviously not as many channels. Usually only use OTA 8VSB to pick up KSTC-DT 45 for Wild games or some rare HD broadcasts.
If anyone else in my immediate area is doing this, let me know how it works.
I can't wait to see the changes after the DTV transition. Maybe more channels?
When I checked out the HD Homerun channel lineup for my area it says I should get FSN-North, but negatory on that...
