I hope this is the right area to post this, plz give me as much help as you can.

I just got the 52w4100 + some goods from Amazon for $1900 and am looking to insure the TV. Is it really worth it? I have done some research and have come across these:

Sony: 4 years for $230
Visa: 3 years for $165 OR 5 years for $268
Mack Warranty from Tapeworks Texas: 3 years AFTER manufacturers warranty for $161.00 (They seem reliable and been around for "70 years" but looks like only defect. No power surge, burn ins)

Plz give me your thoughts, suggestions, or any other warranter's you may use

Both Sony and Visa cover the power surge and burn in?

Visa says:
"covers mechanical and electrical defects that are covered by the manufacturer's warranty", and they do cover power surge

Then just get the one from Visa or unplug your tv during a severe weather.
