Shallow Depth In Walls

i'm in a newer construction codo and want to put 3 speakers for left center right channels in an interior wall. problem is that the wall is built with metal studs which are only about 2.75" wide. this means i have approx 3.125" depth from the surface of the wall to the back of the other side of the wall.

this setup will replace a set of totem arro free standing speakers. i am very happy with the sound from the arro's, but need something in wall. I mention the arros because they are small so I dont need any monser sound - just accurate (my other pair are b&w cdm1 se again not room rockers but very nice sound) i'm probably 80% music and i dont need a ton of bass for movies.

I want something with an enclosure for both sound quality and isolation from adjoining rooms.

I found the speakercraft accufit iw7 that seem to meet my needs but I have never heard them.

any suggestions are greatly appreciated

When I read your thread title, this is exactly the speaker that came to mind.
