One sub and all of the EP2500 or two subs divi it up?

I figured I would try this again.

Is this a stupid, obvious question?

If you had one 12" tc2000 sealed, and were considering a sealed malstrom, would you have better output with just the one malestrom or the combination of the two subs just using the one EP2500?

Would you lose headroom driving two, or would the extra gain of having two subs make up for the loss of a bridged EP2500 driving one 18"?

Are you planning sealed, as using an EQ to boost the low end of either will eat up quite a bit if not all the power 1 EP2500 will provide, 1 maelstrom should have considerably more output then the 12" TC I would imagine.....

How about building both those boxes and 2 EP2500's

I already have the one 12" in a 3' cabinet, ep2500, and bassis EQ.
There really is not anyplace to put another ep2500, plus I don't have the mains capacity to feed it.
So my choice will be one (18") or two (18 + 12) on the one ep2500.
