Frustration with PN42A450 (seeing red)

I attached an image of what I'm seeing since it is easier than trying to describe it.

I'm experiencing a red haze on left side of my screen that I've seen mentioned a few times here but I have not seen a solution. It is most apparent on black and dark colors. I've had my plasma in for warranty repair twice to no avail. Both times they have replaced some boards; video and PC boards I believe.

The redness is there no matter what source is selected, and even without any sources connected. It is there immediately after turning on the set and does not go away. I borrowed a power filter from a friend and it made no difference. This if very disappointing. I'm posting here in hopes that someone may have a solution or advice on how to approach this with Samsung.

Thanks for your reply. At this point I wish they would. I plan to call them today to get something done about it. Is there a lemon rule with these panels?

How long have you had this set?
Is this from day one?

I purchased it May 2008. I'd say it started showing red about 2.5 months ago. The service company wants to take another look at it. At this point I want to agree with discopaul and have it replaced by Samsung.

I realized I never followed-up on my thread. After two repair facilities it was finally determined that it was not repairable and Samsung shipped me a replacement. The second repair facility tried replacing the display, power boards, video boards, etc. (suggested by Samsung technicians) but could not get rid of the redness. The model they replaced it with is a PN42B450. So far everything is great with the new plasma.
