Wii Display Isssue

So whenever I try to play Samurai Showdown or MLB Power Pro's, all of the reds and blue's become purple. Everything other than green is purple. I've also noticed this happens when I set the console to 480i. When it's set to 480p, only those 2 games are affected. I don't think it's the component cable since it only happens on certain settings and on certain games. I sent the Wii to get repaired and noted the problem, but they didn't fix it (they did fix the loud disk spinning) so I'm not sure what to do.

Has anyone experienced this or know what the problem is?

Well I finally tracked down the problem to my receiver. Apparenlly whatever signal the Wii sends for those particular games I was playing was creating issues when coverted to YpBCR on the HDMI out setting. Once I set the HDMI out to RGB, the color issues went away. I'm not sure why this was a problem, but maybe it has something to do with 480i signals versus 480p signals.
