hello...

I just bought Denon 1909, which comes free with Denon DVD player 1740, connected using HDMI. I have some questions on the Dolby/DTS playback...

- What is the Cinema EQ thing? how to use it?

- How to set the output to DTS? is DTS only available when the DVD movie itself has DTS output? I thought as long as the receiver has Dolby/DTS availability, I can choose the output mode?

- Currently, when I'm playing a movie, 1909 says "Dolby Digital". How do I know when it's playing in Dolby TrueHD mode??

- I have BOSE AM10 speakers. I feel that the bass is not deep enough (I know some of you may be cursing the BOSE, and might advise me to sell them ^_^). But when I had the BOSE AM10 connected to my oldddd Pioneer receiver, I'm certain the bass was a lot deeper...

any of you having the same setup encountered this? and how to amplify more of the low frequency? I tried Manual EQ, put more dB on the low frequency across all speakers (since I'd think the BOSE woofer unit will have some high-pass filter to the cones), but still feel not as deep as my old Pioneer receiver (as old as 10 yrs ago, maybe)...

although, I have to say the surround sound effects work a lot better than my old Pioneer (only had AC3-pro logic)... ^_^

any advise is greatly appreciated...
thanks
