5.1 setup for around 1K advice needed

I am looking for some advice on what to get for speakers for a 5.1 setup.

I need 2 in ceiling speakers for the rear, 2 book shelf fronts a center and a sub.

I am having a hard time figuring this out as I am only able to hear what's in the Best buy stores, and for there price I am not impressed yet. They don't need to be top of the line in any way and will never really be blasted. Just want good clear sound at a normal TV or movie watching volume + a little more if home alone.

I would get the Infinity Beta 20s and an Infinity Beta C360 (Would total you approximately $350 max). Harman Audio on eBay has refurbs up for auction. For the sub I would recommend an eD A2-300 for $350.

For in-ceilings... don't know about that, sorry.

If he goes with the Infinity Beta series, the Infinity ERS series in-wall speakers use the same CMMD drivers. The CS60 or CS60-R would match the Beta 20s up front as would the older ERS 110s. I use ERS-210s in custom corner cabinets to match with my Infinity Beta 50s up front and they sound great.

If you are willing to look at internet direct deals check out the acculine speakers from the audioinsider; emotiva has a sale on its erm speakers for thanksgiving day (799 for a 5.0 system); ascend acoustics and av123 have sales as well.
