Replacement for Sony VW100?

Just curious who has replaced their beloved Sony VW100? and what did you buy? I think I'm ready to upgrade but I'm a little reluctant to replace my Sony. I think it has great PQ but ready to move to 24fps and 2.35.

Any input is appreciated.

We still have a Ruby here floating around. Great projector for its day. Honestly most anything you would get now would be an improvement. What specific things do you want to improve most?
Also, do you have a budget?

1080p/24 Support
2.35 compatible.
Natural picture like the vw100. Not sure if this was because of the Xenon bulb

no real budget.. 4k maybe more.. but if I can get this for less, great.

I have the VW100, and recently purchased the Panny 3000, as I wanted to see what the 120hz processing looked like, as I also have a Samsung 6 series LCD flat panel, and like the 120hz processing there. I like the Panny 120hz processing and I use it on most all viewing...others don't like the effect on movies.
Very pleased as the sharpness is a step up, and using the Color1 mode, the colors and grey scale seem spot on. Contrast is greater, blacker blacks and brighter whites. No motion blur, and many other options and tweaking available.
All for one fourth the cost I paid for the Sony. Fan noise is a little more than the Sony, but not bad. The Panny does not accept 480i over HDMI.
Happy hunting.
