Like so many here, we have been struggling with Netflix streaming quality since late 2013.
We live in a rural area of the Pacicic northwest and our internet options are limitted. We're somewhat "stuck" with Comcast.
I've been following this thread hoping for a light at the end of the tunnel, but so far no luck...
Comcast raised our rates last month and I called in to complain.
As part of the CS "dance", they offered to boost my speed from 30mb to 50 mb.
From my understanding, baseline speed is not the issue, as all other internet services (besides Netflix) work fine.
I agreed to a temporary (3 month) "reprieve" from the price increase (in lieu of the speed increase). I'm hoping that some sort of "truce" between Comcast and Netflix is worked out before then.
Any thoughts or opinions?
