Need some help with a home theatre system

Thread Starter
I am shopping for a 5.1 HTS. I need to know what is best for me. I want to keep it under $250. Here are the devices that I want it to work with it. This HTS doesn't even need the ability to play DVD's.

I have a Sharp Aquos TV (with 2 HDMI ports)

A Cable box (from Charter cable with one HDMI port)

A PS3 (one HDMI port and an digital optical output port).

I am not so worried about buying the best as far as quality but something that can meet my price range and also play High Def sound for the TV/Cable and also the PS3 (for my blu rays and gaming).

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!

I know this is a simple copy and paste, so shoot me (*BANG*)

My recommendation (and it seems I'm endorsing this on this part of the forum alot)...
The Sony HT-CT100!
Black Friday's Price= $200 at Walmart and Best Buy
Works great in bedrooms and sounds great (if setup correctly).
Doesn't come with any player, but it also doesn't come with clutter, wires, speakers out the ying yang either.
The CT100 is a soundbar that produces a somewhat believable surround effect and is only second to the king of soundbars, Yamaha. They are both totally different though.
Unlike the Yamaha, the CT100 isn't going to cost you a grand or more but less than $250 like YOU WANTED.
Again, Unlike the Yamaha, the CT100 comes WITH A SUBWOOFER (not optional like Yamaha either, you have to have it) and a receiver is INSIDE the giant.
Great deal for a great price, Walmar... I mean, don't pass up on the chance. If you have any questions regarding the system, jump on the CT100 thread here in this portion of the forum. I do warn ya, it's been getting hit pretty recently, and that's a good thing !

Note: With your PS3, you can actually set your sound settings to 5.1/7.1 LPCM uncompressed sound and this thing WILL "Simulate" the best it can of it. Virtual surround is what it puts out and has a way of producing surround without the additional speakers but just one sound bar.

Thanks for the heads up on the sale on the ct100, I just ordered one online about 10 minutes ago. I've been debating what I want and decided that between my room setup and the price on this unit, it is the way to go for now. I'm really looking forward to getting it as the speakers on my TV leave much to be desired.

I'll step into the full on surround-sound setup when I have a better area to deal with, and then I'll move this into the bedroom. For $235 shipped to my door I couldn't pass this up.
