how to get db reading?

Happy Thanksgiving folks!

I need some help. I would like to know the db that my sub is able to put out. What software do I use? I used REW before but I remember that we have to match our volume to what REW is suggesting.

What I would really like to know is the db of the LFE(maybe from 80hz to 10hz) at my desired main volume on the Yamaha and that is -12.5.

Thanks!

Get a Radioshack analog SPL meter and then use these corrections.

Thanks for the link!

I have a digital one though. They probably use the same mic, but do you know if the digital one has circuitry to compensate for the lower efficiency down low?

No idea about the circuitry. About the low readings...that's what the compensation tables are for. I think they should work with either the digital or analog.
