They will be mine!! This is a good list.
march is not that far away, i do hope we see them in the US around the same time. i do think the rate at which they come out will go up.

i will buy this next set for sure. i hope target has the same $20/movie sale. i was able to get all six at once in cases which was nice
post #6 of 205
I like every one of these, I'll buy them all. But, besides GOLDFINGER, I really want ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE and YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE.
LOL, 1.5 years for all Bond in HD is absolutely fast as heck. Especially since we are dealing with MGM.

Looking forward to Goldeneye and Goldgfinger.
Excellent, I love Diamonds are Forever and of course Goldfinger.
Well, there's more money I'll be giving to the Blu Confederation.
Hopefully Goldeneye won't be cropped to hell like it's been on HDTV and the UE DVD.

Glad to see the Bond films making their way, but after evaluating, I really hate the 3 disc volume sets. Even when they were first released on DVD, the sets included 6-7 discs, and there were initially 3 sets total. Of course it was released again in 4 volumes, but those were remastered with extras.

How many 3 disc sets will there be... 8? Then they will release the entire blu-ray set? All i know is...glad that I got these via the amazon deals. Hopefully there will be more to come.
I'll wait till all the volumes are released. Looking at how MGM released their past Bond films, there will be some kind of bundle of all of them. I found my UE DVDs for around $10 each (when bought all together) which I already considered a good price until I saw them at $5. Blu-rays aren't cheap.

Goldeneye was delayed from the first set to correct this, it will be a new transfer

I had a Showtime D-VHS recording from about 6 years ago that was full Scope OAR, no cropping, the cropping was deemed to be a Pan and Scan print used for the UE DVD and ultimately the Lowry master used for that release oops!!

Thanks for the heads up. I'm a Bond fan so I'll likely buy most or perhaps all of these.

Amazon currently has them priced at $17.50 each. In addition if you buy 3, you get a further $20 off. If you buy all 6 (or some Bonds + any of the other Fox ,6, titles in the promo for a total of 6 at once) you get an extra $50 off + an additional $5 for buying a specified 'pair' of the series. Buy all 6 and that's an additional $15 taken off. Bottom line, you can get all the individual Bond Bds now for under $50 total (promotion runs thru the 7th iirc).
Only LTK and SWLM in the next wave for me, and only if a new transfer has been struck for SWLM. It will be a major outrage if there hasn't because there is no way that current master is ready for HD prime-time. It's an EE'd abomination.

Thank you!!! You just saved me so much money! I usually check Amazon everyday, but I never saw this deal. BTW, in case anyone else is going to take advantage of this deal, you can add 4 copies of Windtalkers @ $14.99ea to get the $100 off and then sell them to make the cost of the Bonds even cheaper! After selling the Windtalkers locally my average cost per 007 title will be $12 Canadian!

Was that deal posted in the Deals sticky?

For Americans it made each blu ray of Bond cost 8 dollars!!! with the ten blu rays with 100 dollars off.

Dang it! This is what I was afraid of. Sales must not have been strong enough to justify six at a time. But I'll take these three and wait patiently for the rest...
yeah, after goldfinger only on her majesty's secret service is really missing. still the best bond (movie ofc)...
The next wave can be Goldeneye, OHMSS and Living Daylights and I'll be extremely happy.
I bought the bond movies I wanted for 9.99 each, did not buy as set,so I only got the movies I wanted.
Golden eye is in the lists.
I'm ticked that Goldeneye is not in the US releases :-(

Only Goldfinger (which of course I'm buying), Moonraker, and The World is Not Enough.
The World is Not Enough, Goldfinger, Moonraker are up at Amazon and also have a Steelbook edition.

Those are the first 3 of the 6 that have been announced. 3 more are still left to be announced for that wave of 6.

Odd that they would withold 3 titles if they're known for the Australia releases.

I just assumed the US was getting stiffed for another wave of titles later.
