To change or not change my sub

Thread Starter
I have the Polk RM6800 speaker set, and I've recently decided to upgrade. I purchased 2 Monitor 60's for the front, and also a CS10 for the center. I'm just keeping the 2 rear 6800 speakers for now, but can't decide what to do with the sub. Should I just keep the sub and use it with the new setup, or purchase possibly the PSW10 sub from newegg for 99.99? Or something else around that price range perhaps? Thanks for any information.

What is the size of your room...?

If you buy a real sub, you will never regret it..... you won't get a real good quality sub for $99.00. IMO

Save up your money, and when you get around $300, you will be able to get a real subwoofer. For $99.99 you don't really get a subwoofer, you just get a woofer in a box (that looks like a subwoofer). These bottom of the barrell subwoofers just take away from your pool of money for a real subwoofer.

I second what spyboy us saying but up the savings plan to $700.

The sub is the heart of the HT experience.
