9ft box needed to ship screen, Boston/north shore area

If anyone in the Boston/north shore area (Merrimack Valley area) has a 9' box to ship a retractable screen that they no longer need or would be willing to let me borrow (to be returned when I get my screen back) I'd greatly appreciate it. I need to ship it and naturally tossed the box about two weeks after getting it installed last summer.

Packing material not necessary. The box has to be between 8' 8" (min) and 9ft (max) as FedEx only accepts pkgs up to 9'.

Just trying to save myself the cost of having an empty box shipped to me (not insignificant!) I'd be glad to offer a reward (think "the Holiday 5-pk" ) for anyone that can help me out!

Try using a large PVC pipe. How wide is the screen? You are not likely to find a box that size.

You can always call the manufacturer that sold you the screen and see if they will sell you a box

Thanks for the suggestions, I'm just trying to save the ~$50 to have them ship me one empty with the packing materials (folded in half they said.)

I thought about making one but can't figure out how to attach sections of boxes in such a way that they'd withstand the shipping process without totally coming apart.

Still looking if anyone has one!

You can always make a box. Its really not that hard to do. 50 bucks really isnt allot of coin either.
