Can someone direct me here, I know nothing about this stuff. I just moved to a Fiber Optic community(ran by YRT2.net) which gives DirecTV, Internet, Digital Phone, Security System all in one package($145/mo + HDTV/HBO cost).
Here is my problem, I have two rooms I want HDTV in. Currently I have it in the main living room and paying the 10 bucks a month for DVR/HD DirecTV box rental. They have a special box with IP-TV coded software on it that is different from 99% of DirecTV boxes(model is HR-20i I think).
Anyway, I'm trying to figure out how to get HDTV into my Theater Room(720p Front Projector, PS3, Onkyo 606 setup) without purchasing a DirecTV box for $250 or renting an additional box for $10/month(I will be here for atleast 4 years).
So is there any solution(SLingbox hd???) that takes the feed from the 1 DirecTV Box I have and can send it to my Theater Room in HD format? Thanks for any help.
p.s., the Entire House has Cat-5 outlets that the TV signal and/or Internet/phone are broadcast through.
