So in the past year i've burned through 2 philips dvp5982 region free players. When philips sent me a replacement they sent the dvp5992, and although it's a higher model number it looks cheaper and sells for cheaper on Amazon. Can anyone give me any imput on these 2 players? Should I keep the 5992 or ask them to send me the 5982? Thanks!

As far as I can see: My brother has the 5982 and I bought a 5992 from Costco a couple of months ago... They appear to perform the same, but I haven't physically compared them side-by-side.

Even on paper, the specs appear to be the same.
