No offense intended to anyone. Just having a little fun with SOWK.
Well, I will say I walk way very very impressed, enough to say if there is no 1 chip LED DLP by the time I am going to get my Home Theater back, I will be going JVC! (Yes Baby Jesus, but with a touch of green.)
And actually whatever program I was watching I found absolutely no issues with the green. But the material seemed to be more natural in tone to begin with.
I don't think I would say its better then the Marantz VP-11S2 in image quality, but close enough, and a lot less money.
I think those with any high power screen would need the RS20 vs the RS10, as I think the RS10 would be to bright...
I also got a chance to see a large high power this last weekend, and I though it was very good, but shows a lot of noise in the source in dark scenes. So if the movie is not authored very well you will see issues.
I have been venturing out calibrating peoples displays more and more now. Its really nice to see a lot of different people setups and how they implement everything.
So if anyone is in the Milwaukee Area / Wauwatosa Area that would like their RS10/RS20 calibrated, send me a PM. I take a long time to calibrate, but try for perfection.
