Has anyone heard the Pass Labs 350.5 amplifier? How does it compare to others? This Pass Labs 350.5 looks like a good deal and I'm considering it.

I understand the .5 revision is not as good as the original, but is still very much hi-fi. It's also a monster!

What are you replacing with it?

excellent amp, although the X250.5 is supposed to be the sweet spot.

Excellent amp. The first 40 watts are pure Class A, so you need to make sure you have a lot of room for it to breathe. Some say it does not have the greatest woofer control, but that has not been my experience. Of course YMMV

the .5 revision is a noticable improvement over the original series. Both are excellent though. Not sure where you got your information from?

The Pass Labs 350.5 sounds like a great amp, and $6500 is a good price for a $11,000 amp.

well, yes and no. The 350.5 and the monoblocks certainly improved in the .5 series. The odd duckling seems to be the 250, where the 250 is still a bit more musical and accurate than the 250.5 for some reason for most of us who've tried them. go figure.
