Or try this method too. That way you can play in hd and record in SD and the recorded SD quality isn't that bad.

ive got a nikon coolpix L120, and it records in 720p. my dude was over here the other day and i recorded a match of his and it turned out pretty nice actually. I need to get a mini tripod and I would be set

Jitu I already have my Xbox cable like that for my HDMI and Headset setup. I don't think you can run both HDMI and Component at the same time. It only sends video out on component if the HDMI connection isn't active.

Not a big deal. I will eventually grab the recorder you have. Basically I have a month of school left and hopefully will land a job starting in early June. I am actively trying to move back to Florida since the pay rate in power plants is identical to Philadelphia plants. Houses are a 1/3 or less the price of here. Once life settles down a little bit I will be sure to pick one up. I really wouldn't even have the time to create videos right now with school work and job hunting. Editing would cut into my nighttime gaming, and that isn't happening right now!!!

I think you would love Barebones. I know you love getting KS, but without the worry of that, the games are just smoother. You don't worry about getting to six kills and hiding until you get that seventh for Harriers and then laying low again until 11 kills. You can just run around like an idiot and have fun. Plus with headphones you can get some easy kills that you wouldn't normally (due to all the damn noise!). It is a real nice change of pace. There were very few Noob Toobers and Quick Scopers, which is always a plus.

My wife has a Mac and that would probably be the best way to edit. Can't imagine PC programs to be anywhere as easy or good.

I wish I had a recorder last night. Playing with Mack and Orion I was beasting! At one point on Barebones I got up to 12 kills in a row. Did it with a combo of P90, Spas, grenade and knife kills. If there was ever a time where a headset improves gameplay it is definitely in Barebones. The other team must have been wondering how the hell I always knew where they were. Without constant Helicopters and Planes making a loud racket, you can easily hear where others are. Had a ton of fun last night and need to start playing more Barebones. I have a much better K/D ratio without KS. The other thing I like about Barebones Pro is the combo of FFA and TDM. Breaks up the monotony of playing one game type.

I should be on later tonight. Going out for a few hours for my sister's B-Day and imagine I will be home by 10:00-11:00.

Yes sir you were beastin...plus you had a good team I might add should be on in an hour or so.

Craig. You missed out on some biblical azz beating. We found some new peeps and we all communicated the entire time and we played CoD like it was meant to be played. It was magical and I even saw fairy dust falling down from the sky.

Yeah I need to get my head on straight guys...been going out way too much! Been having fun but I def need to slow down a little bit. I'm going back to my training next week so I'll be staying in more at night and playing COD so I can wake up early(er) and make it to the gym.

Well, you shouldn't force yourself to play a game

I may be the only sheep playing this game still and still enjoying it. Played solo tonight for a while and unlocked Akimbo G18 and it kicks ass. Working on Bling Pro now to get Akimbo G18 + Silencer.

Still rocking the Spas-12.

I am not quitting this game until I get a care package drop on someone. If I can get that as a killcam then it would be even better. I actually want to complete all the Prestige challenges whether I love or hate the game. It's just for my personal accomplishment.

thats how i feel! everytime I look at the prestige goals, I get the urge to play because thats how I am too. Im super competitive, and I hate not being able to finish something I started. Maybe I just need to take a little break. Although I tried a couple days without it, and hopped back on and immediately felt rusty, and felt like it was just going to be one of those days.

Sorry I haven't been on for a few days. Had a busy weekend and helped my sister move the past two days. I have been too tired to get on. I also got into the MS update preview and had to play some Halo:Reach last night. I should be able to get on tonight if anyone is looking for people to play with.

Amazon is giving $39.25 credit for it. Yes thats almost $40 for a 6 month old used game that most of us paid Amazon $40 for in the first place.

Dammit! Haha, I took $23 cash from Gamestop a couple days ago. Officially fed up with BO, and next up might be MW2, even though last night was pretty fun for a few matches. Almost time to prestige again, I wonder if I will or if I'll just say fuggit and keep my rpg lol

I don't hate BLOPS Daekwan. It's just not fun enough for me. I have nothing against people that play it and enjoy it. Good for them. When BLOPS came out I was one of the few in here that got it midnight and played it and gave my impressions. If you go back and read some of them you will see that I did have positive things to say about the game and game only. I played it and even prestiged so I guess you can say I gave it fair amount of chance but it just didn't do it for me. People rave about Reach but I haven't even bought the game. Coming from playing Halo 1,2 and 3 you would think I would try that out but nope, I just didn't care enough because multi-player didn't interest me.

MW2 only matured for me and I know I will play it for a long time just like I did with Counter-Strike. I custom built a PC just to play that game when I was in college and I played it up until MW2 came out believe it or not.

I am starting to like Scar-H a lot more and for some reason I do really well in Wasteland with it. The G18 racks up kills though and it's just as powerful as the UMP45 from what I have experience so far. I have tried the Akimbo Raffica but I didn't do too well with it but should be just as deadly since by itself it's like a mini Famas.

it just seems that more and more people are interested in camping with thermal scopes, OMA, and noob tubes. Grenade launchers and thumpers, like wtf? Idk, its just not fun IMO, to sit there and hope someone runs by your screen. At least with sniping youve gotta be accurate, but noob tubes you just get it in the area, and since most have danger close on, youre dead!

I agree it is a pain when a bunch of people are playing with the OMA crap. I have found weekdays to be better and changing lobbies can help a ton. Some matches are just terrible but Jitu and I usually can find a good lobby. It seems to go in cycles as I think people get bored and overall don't do that well. Most noob toobers have terrible K/D ratios.

But yeah...I have def slowed down on this game. I played for hours a day for almost 18 months straight but am finally getting burned out. I've actually been switching it up a little bit these days with a little Blops. I just need something fresh.

The Scar-H is beast. It was the primary AR that I used until I branched out. I still use it a lot. It's excellent for long range. Only real downside is slow rate of fire, which is a disadvantage in CQC. I also tried the Akimbo Raffica and didn't really like it compared to the single. I wasn't as accurate. I haven't used the Raffica during my current Prestige, but I was very successful with it in earlier Prestiges using it as a companion to a sniper rifle.

Yeah man...the best 3 assault rifles are (in order), the Scar, M-16, and the ACR I think. I'm pretty sure that's how it goes according to one of the machinima directors and I pretty much couldn't agree more. The scar is just a freakin beast. Who cares about the slower fire rate when 2-3 bullets with stopping power kills.

I gotta say the M4 is my favorite all around AR. Just like everything about it and it doesn't have any glaring weakness. Scar is slow and small clip. ACR is accurate as hell but weak. I suck with the M16, but that is probably my fault for not using it a lot. May have to switch to that for a while to see how good I can get. I need something like 60 Headshots for 250 to close out the M4. I hit 2500 kills with it tonight actually. Time to use another gun!

I had a great night playing tonight. Went from level 43 to 47 and most matches I was over 3000 points (7000+ w/ match bonus) when playing Domination in either GW or straight up. Used the Spas a ton and was dominating with it. I have gotten extremely good with grenade kills and can pretty much hit my target anywhere in throwing range. I had a bunch of really far defensive kill throws . It is getting to the point where I am averaging more than 5 grenade kills a game.

I am finding the trick in Domination is watching the flag markers and the second they start blinking I run to defend them. Some matches I basically go back and forth between two flags and either get defensive kills or offensive kills (plus retake the flag). Sub Base is my favorite map by far as defending B and C can net some serious points and are easy to defend with grenades.

With D Moolah, Orion, and the new guys (Jitu where did we meet them?) we owned a lot of the matches. Won a match 200-19 and the other team didn't get a flag until we had over 80 points. It was a beating! The only games we had trouble were with noob tubes and quickscopers, but I guess I am just accepting they aren't going to go away. I know you tried to hang in Mack and it was good to play with you while you stayed. I thought you were getting on tonight Jitu . You missed out but I am sure it wasn't by choice. It seems like most of the guys will be on a lot so it shouldn't be too hard to get a large group from now on. Planning on getting on tomorrow night.

You have to give the Scar-H a serious try. Using Scavenger and Extra Mags offsets the small clip. It has one of the best iron sights in the game. The ACR is weak, but Stopping Power and its fast rate of fire compensate. The M16 is super deadly with Stopping Power and Holographic Sight, which increases accuracy. Some people consider the M16 cheap because it is so effective.

Definitely a fun night, barring the noobtube whores and a couple of boosters.
