Sorry I wasn't doing better last night. I think getting a late start got to me as well. Jitu, your AC130 on Terminal was killin 'em. I kept seeing multi-kill after multi-kill and was just waiting for you to drop the nuke.

I should be on in a little while and will try to bring me A game tonight. And I think I might have my mic fixed.

That game was beastly to say the least and I only have my AVS comrades as witnesses since my capture software wasn't working that night.

I wasn't doing so well either and it's always this super late night gaming that makes it that way. When I play early from 9-12 I do really well. Connections are good and decent players are on. None of that camping, cheating, boosting stuff.

As you all know I have been talking about how great the Tar-21 with silence and red dot is and thats what I used to get Bling Pro (finally) so I can use the Model 1887 with Akimbo and FMJ. What I discovered last night is that it made the gun even worse. I am not sure if was that lobby we were in and the lag played a part in it but before I used that with just Akimbo and now I can't remember if I ha Bling on at that time but I got pretty good kills with it with decent distance. However, last night when we played Barebones Pro for a little bit, I was shooting someone 5 feet in front of me and it's like the bullets vanish as it exits the barrels. Need to look into this some more.

Off topic but BLOPS got their 2nd map mack and one of them is called Zoo. Looks a lot like Carnival. Way to be original Treyarch!

I am starting to wonder how bad this game is hacked. The messages popping up mid game is ridiculous and a bunch of matches are starting to not seem right.

One weird thing is when it is the three of us things are pretty good. Add in anymore than that and we start having issues. I don't know if we get stuck against large groups when we hit four members, but that is usually when it seems to go to hell. Maybe the groups we are playing against are all over the country (like we are) so lag issues will vary between certain player match ups. When I have issues it is usually with one or two people on the other team, not everyone.

This doesn't apply to GW as that hasn't played well in months now. GW is just a cluster at this point. You could probably tell how excited I was when you asked last night if we should play that and I screamed "NOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

BangBang and Eric were having connection issues on some of the matches but I was getting full bars and no issue. I really don't know what it is but I would guess it's when east meets west, we get connection issues and dropouts.

Yes I agree with you that he should get the map packs. He obviously is going to be playing this game for a while longer, and the map packs do give it a fresh coat of paint. Even getting just one of them will help out a lot. Gives us 5 new maps in the rotation and if he gets both it is 10 new maps. Not that all of the new maps are great, but they are better than the terds from the original maps. It's funny as I have had them for a few months now and I hardly ever play them. I still get lost on a few of them due to lack of play!

Agreed. I love Trailer Park, Carnival, Vacant, Crash, Bailout, Strike (Spastastik heave!), and Storm. If anything you should get the 2nd map pack because it most of the new maps I like. What do you think Matt?

I have been following IW tweets and their forum. They are working on fixing the hacking issues we have been seeing recently.

Nice to know that they still support their older games while working on new ones...

They know if they didn't they may lose a lot of their customers. I hope they tweak the Model 1887 so it's worth a damn because I love the sound of it going BOOM!

I like both map packs but the second is better. I bought them to keep it fresh. No other shooters coming anytime soon.

How about a new map that is a replica of the compound where Osama was killed and make the Playlist S&D. it will be 6 v 1 and every time you find and kill Osama you get double the XP while a headshot will land you 27 million XP!

I considered purchasing the map packs, but a lot of the reviews were negative. The first map pack seems to get the better reviews. At $15 a pop I don't plan on buying them, especially when you're really paying for only a few maps since many are garbage. I don't want to purchase them just to help with connection issues.

On a related note things went really well when it was just the three of us early on - me, jitu, matt - connection-wise and gameplay-wise. We were dominating, finishing 1-2-3 in every match. I don't know if we gel together well or if other variables are involved, but it seems that we do better with us three.

I don't know why but I really agree with you on the three of us doing very well together. When the party gets larger than that it goes to crap for me. I guess we get lucky with the randoms they stick us with.

The map packs are good overall. Just like any game their are a few maps that I don't care for, but overall I like playing the majority of them. I also think a lot of it too, is the map packs are more challenging for me. I know the OG maps so well that I can basically predict how each map plays out no matter the game type. I am still trying to figure out the new maps so I have to be more careful on them. I get a lot more satisfaction when I dominate on the map pack maps. If I do really well on Terminal or Sub Base I am not surprised at all. I actually get more upset if I have just an OK game on the OG maps compared to doing below average on the new maps.

I guess it comes down to how willing are you to part with $30. When I went for them I probably could have used the money more wisely as things are tight for me these days. There have been times when $30 was throw away money and I could care less about losing it. I do not regret buying the map packs at all (I do however regret the Blops map pack). If you plan on playing this until the fall on a regular basis I would suggest getting them. It does give MW2 some new life.

One funny thing is Jitu HATES the map "Fuel". I actually like the map and usually have some good matches on it. None of the maps bother me like Wasteland and Estate. I wish those two could be taken from the rotation! I read the reviews before buying them and I can't say I agree with the opinions of them. I think they change over time as people get used to them.

One of the reasons I like playing FFA with a group of people is we get to go against each other. We are all pretty good and it is fun to see how you can do against the crowd. Also their is no noob tubing which is always a huge plus. Next time we play against Mack we all need to team up against him so he doesn't win!

I cannot believe how fast the time goes when we play. I was on for 4.5 hours last night and it didn't feel even close to that amount of time. Half the time I look at a clock and I am blown away by how late it is.

I am expecting to be on tonight. Should be around 10:00, maybe earlier if the Phillies are up big.

Remembere when we were playing TDM in Invasion and I was on the other team and I think Eric and the other guy (Mac's buddy) was getting frustrated. He was like maaaaaan that guy all he is doing is running around with the shotgun....(not quote on quote). All I could do was laugh.

I really liked the 6 people BB Pro. It was a lot of fun and you are right since we are all really good, it's nice and challenging to be able to go up against each other. Lets try to get the party going again soon.

Had a sick 4 on 4 BB TDM with Swervin right before we all linked up, can't remembr the score but I think it was like 17-4 or something and had started off with an 11 KS with the Intervention.

That's def one thing I want to master...

Dude! you are pretty good with a sniper rifle because in the same match I mentioned before you got me a few times even though I was running super fast with Marathon and Lightweight class. It was a mad fun indeed! can't wait for our next session.

BTW (to go OT again), did you see the photos of the helo wreckage? I've never seen that stuff before - apparently our government has some kind of high-tech helo that has never been seen in public before. Cool stuff.

I don't like that I can hear myself run with Ninja Pro in BB Pro. I was getting tired towards the last couple of matches and couldn't kill anyone with my delayed reaction. Taz was funny as hell though and I died a lot listening his complaints because they were just so damn amusing. So, I kept changing class and killed him with different weapons to annoy him some more

When we switched to G-Dubs, I was getting annoyed by the randoms we had in our team. Eric and I played for a little bit before I retired and we were in Highrise playing Dom and I was working on my Nuke. Once I got my CG I wasn't getting a lot of kills but had I not died while I was in CG I would have gotten a Nuke. The enemy only had 1 flag but our team kept spreading out everywhere and lost C so now I was trying to go back and forth between A and C which ultimately got me killed.

I will be on Sat morning because I am just sick and tired of all the retards that get on at night.

17-0 was the best start I ever had to a match. If I had the AC130 instead of CG I may have gotten a nuke. The were hiding inside and I couldn't get them. When I came out of the CG I was basically by myself and trapped between the enemy. Really had no shot to get out of it alive.

I think I am going to go for a nuke full time. To get that close on my first attempt is pretty cool. Best part is I wasn't really camping at all, just being a little more careful and not running as much as usual. Plus I am usually so bad with the Predator that it is pretty much useless. I always hit some obstruction with it, like the glass frames on the ceiling on Terminal. That or a teammate kills the dude I have lined up a second before the missile hits.

Taz was funny as hell. He was getting so mad about the Spas (along with Mack) so I switched over to the ACR and killed them both a lot with that. I almost started tubing just to piss them off more. It was so funny! Taz wasn't running Ninja Pro so I could hear him coming from a mile away. I knifed him a few times as he was coming around a corner. It really didn't matter what weapon I used as I had a huge advantage knowing where he was.

Eric was owning my ass last night in FFA. I think he killed me 50% of my total deaths. It always seemed like Eric was following me around waiting for me to kill someone and he would kill me a second later. Very satisfying to kill him the few times I did. Mack is always fun to kill because he is usually at the top of the scoreboard.

I will help you get your Nuke. Keep me updated on your location and I will camp it out. In another match in Invasion I was going for a Nuke but I gave up because I thought Eric got his and wanted to give him a chance to call his in. This was also when our party kept getting split up and I was talking to myself for the whole match and when the game ended I was wondering why Eric didn't call in his Nuke. Come to find out he didn't even equip it but had over 25 killstreaks and 0 death.

I have only recorded 1 Nuke video but I want to record more. Seems like everytime I rape with CG or AC-130 I end up dying and it would be like 1 kill away from a Nuke...every single time!

I wasn't mad about the spas! I don't get mad when we play, only when I get buzzkilled in Dom or GW by a random OMA DC Tube. Good games last night...it was fun. Should be on tonight after work. Gotta get my swagger back though; def felt a lil rusty after my month long layoff. And by layoff I mean playing less than a half hour a few times a week! Holla at ya boy! AVS FTW!
