Eric, I had to get off with the quickness because I was feeling nauseated and if I stayed for one more game I would have vomited all over. It's mostly likely due to the medication I am taking and hydrocodone ain't no joke. Sometimes it makes me feel really good, lol! then there are times when I am like turning inside out.

Not a drop shotter either. It rarely works against me so I don't see the benefit. Maybe it works well against noobs. It is the same thing as the idiots who jump all over. It doesn't help them except to make their aiming more difficult.

Got my a$$ handed to me last night. True, I just got the game and know nothing about the maps, but atleast in Blops I felt like I had a chance.

Still getting used to the difference in class load out options.

Definately feels more of an "arcade" game than Blops does, not meant as a slam, but the game does feel very different.

Drop shot doesn't work 100% BUT it does and has improved my KDR over time and saved my butt quite a few times. It specially works when you are far enough away where it becomes very difficult to hit you because you are now a very small target. I have seen this happen when someone is capturing a flag in prone and I shot them from a distance only to hit nothing while the guy capturing fires back and kills me.

I agree that it does look silly but once you master it though the benefit will out weigh the silliness.

Before I switched to tactical I had a bad habit of accidentally clicking the left analog stick in the heat of battle, which resulted in me swiping the air with my knife. When I switched to tactical I was drop shotting all over the place, but it was very effective for me, especially at close range. Now that I've tempered my reflexes I don't do it as much, mainly as a defensive maneuver to hide behind objects while evading fire. Instead of drop shotting as often I now click the left analog stick to crouch, which is surprisingly effective at close range. Can't count the amount of times an opponent has shot over my head or knifed above me, lol.

I'm not the best player in the world but with the limited amount of days I've racked up on my new account I've managed to snag some 42k more kills than deaths so I'd say dropshots are pretty effective once you get it down

Yup, that's BLOPS for ya. Maybe MW2 had/has the same issues, but I certainly don't remember it like that for whatever reason (maybe just rose colored glasses). That's exactly how I remember BLOPS though, that exact thing happening constantly. Just watching it makes me so happy I don't play it anymore. Far too frustrating.

Blops definitley sucked...the only reason people were on its nuts is because it was new. Once MW3 comes out Blops will be history. Which of course you already knew but I just felt like saying it anyways. I remember when I first put that game in my console and booted it up...I was like "you have to be joking"! Needless to say that would be the first and the last 3Arch game I'd ever buy. I wonder if they know though? That they're the red headed step child?

Games last night sucked hard. Everyone on the opposite team (a clan) were either noob tubing, commando-knifing, or rpg rocketing. Score was tied half-way through match. I got fed up and brought my "Le Noob Slayer" load-out into play.

Gun: SCAR-H with noob tube
Secondary: RPG
Semtex grenades
Flash grenades
Perk 1: Marathon Pro
Perk 2: Cold-Blooded Pro
Perk 3: Ninja Pro

Killstreaks: UAV, Precision Airstrike, and Pave Low

I fight fire with FYRE! we won that match by 7 kills, next match they (4 of them) all rage quit halfway through game. I finished my game, looked them up, joined their game (opposite team), continued my noob conquest (same load-out), they quit again, did it twice more then they started physically turning off their xboxs. Nice games guy! Also came up with alternate screen names for the outdoor theater. Currently its names cine-Tron, but building a bigger screen it can be named...Mega-Tron!

Looks like I'll be catching up on some Fallout 3. Hopefully some will stay behind with Blops 'cause I really don't want to move back to the mess that is MW2. Although people have figured out a way to bring my most hated MW2 nemesis, the Commando lunge, into Blops. It pisses me off every time it happens.
