I'm new to these forums (also to HDTV and bluray), and few questions. I tried searching but didn't find anything relevant to my questions.
Which is a better upconverter of regular DVDs should the Sony bluray player do the job or the panasonic plasma tv mentioned above?
Is it even worth it to have a bluray player with a 42" 720P HDTV?
When I play bluray movies and hit info button on my TV remote, on my display I get a message saying it is showing 1080P, does it mean it is simply receiving that but not actually showing it?
