Need help.
I browsed thru the archive and did some debugging myself, but no luck so far.
Right now, I have Toshiba HD DVD feeding Pioneer VSX-92THX to my Mitsubishi projector and using Pioneer to power my speakers as it should be. HDMI is fed from Toshiba to Pioneer to Mitsubishi since I intend to add another source with HDMI soon. Toshiba HDMIaudio oupput is configured as "auto", optical audio out is "bitstream" though I am not using optical.
Just bought a Samsung LCD TV for bedroom and will occasionally route HDMI from Pioneer to it. NO SOUND! I went thru all the setup pages in Pioneer and there is nothing to be adjusted. Nothing in Samsung that I can change either. Problem is resolved if I go straight from Toshiba to Samsung, but that does not solve my problem long term. So seems like the problem lies in Pioneer.
To all the Pioneer expert out there, what is wrong with my setup?
