Nintendo Wii connectivity issue

I have the Nintendo Wii running into my Integra DTR 5.9 via component cables. 95% of the time, everything works fine. When I play Wii video games, watch the photo channel, or work online via the Wii, there is no problem. But, when I play an old school Nintendo game which is saved onto the Wii, I lose the video. Any ideas about this?

Check to see that the Integra is having an isue w/ 480i, which is what many VC titles, esp the "oldest" of games, sometimes output to (regardless of Wii setting)

I suspect that is the problem. Any suggested fixes for this or am I not able to play old school games anymore?
