Use the * button on your remote when hovering over one of your favorites to bring up the menu. Same for deleting/removing it.

Are you guys members of the CT?? You guys are missing out on some very valuable information!! The CT's knowledge base is plumb full of great info.

Speaking of CT, if you are interesting if getting the old way of viewing local trailers (via the xml) back into MediaBrowser, please drop your vote here:

http://community.mediabrowser.tv/per...lers-subfolder

We lose this feature with the latest release which is a real bummer as the new way (having a Trailers subfolder) is not practical for me.

I got a question about that D and didn't see it in their faq. So is the subfolder in the folder of the movie itself? Or are all the trailers in one general location? Because that would work better for me.

EDIT, found what I was looking for.

In the folder of each movie you need to have a subfolder called "Trailers" and then in that folder you would have the trailer. So having trailers saved in a central location and then just referenced in the xml is no longer supported

No there isn't anyway to bypass that for DVDs. It won't prompt you for blu-rays.

Hello,

Need help with iTunes trailer plug in.
I downloaded the new version of MB. Everythig is cool. I added the iTunes plug in... however while adding other plugins by mistake I removed the iTunes plugin from the list that I downloaded. So I went to the list of plugings that can be downloaded and its not there anymore.
I unistalled MB and installed it back again and I still don't see iTunes trailer in the list of plugins that can be downloaded.
Any of you know how can download the plugin again?

Thanks in advance

Anyway to change cover art to existing movies to the newer "Stark like" covers. My newer additions to MB show stark covers, and anything on before upgrade shows the original style of cover art???

YOu have to clear out your cache first, and then the stark like covers will be added

How do I use a themed background? I have enabled it but it does not show up. I want to use one of xzeners. Also do I have to manually configure the IBN folders? I thought this was done automatically. I still have much to learn obviously. Thanks.

Never mind. Got it figured out. Google is great and so is the MB Knowledge Base.

I have done that on the MB config screen menu, always comes up with an error message. Do you have to manually empty the cache data in the individual folders under "program data" mediabrowser??

I manually deleted all the files in the cache folder under ProgramData, that is the only way I got the stark covers to show for my already added content

If you want it to only use the build in WMC player, then yes. If you want it to use an external player, then no.

I have attached a registry editing file which removes the choice and makes it use the built in player only. It is a very simple file, you can right click and select edit to view its contents...after you unzip it of course.

DVD Choice Fix.zip 0.271484375k . file

Thanks, that worked (took a long time to load images). I only have one movie I have never been able to load cover art/movie information on...."Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon".

Anyone able to load this coverart? Is title correct? I have tried it many ways with no joy.

I finally found the answer for this one in case anybody else is a fan of the movie. To collect IMDB data you have to use the Chinese spelling of the movie "Wo hu cang long" which solves the problem and brings up US release cover art.

dbone 1026 as always thanks for your help with Mediabrowser.

So with the new version of MB I had trailers working fine. I downloaded some .mov's on my old system which had just gotten a clean install and they worked great.

Today I built a new htpc and it isnt working. When I go to play the trailer, tried mov and mp4, I get a media center has stopped working error and it shuts down.

Anyone had this problem??

You can be having the same problem I am and which I posted as rickster53 here...

http://www.mediabrowser.tv/forum/vie...=5613&start=10

Mov files (which is the primary format for my trailer files) are Apple format files. If you read that thread you'll see that in my case the issue appears to be the 64-bit Vista OS/64-bit Media Center. 90% of my .mov files do not play the audio although video is fine. If I play the file outside of MC using the 32-bit version of Windows Media Player , audio and video are both fine. If I use the 64-bit Media Player there's no audio on those files. It appears to be a 64-bit codec problem...
