Ditto... they were childhood friends that grew up together. They didn't meet simply because they were physically attracted to each other.

I don't understand how that resulted in getting the fingerprint off the bullet. I also missed the significance of this scene. Who's fingerprint was it? Sorry, watched it once very drunk, and then again the next day, very hung over.

On certain guns, the bullet is inserted from the side of the gun. When this happens, a thumb print can transfer to the lead and shell casing. Reconstructing the slug was done so that thumb print could be pieced back together.

I get that, but Bruce shattering other slugs in the bat cave threw me off.

Definitely had the audio dropouts here as well. Had them both times I watched it. I'm using a BD-35 to an Outlaw 990 via optical. I don't know the times of the drops, I'll try to remember to jot them down and compare to others that have posted the same issue.

3:54 or 3:55

Those are the ones I remember off the top of my head. There are more dropouts near the end of the movie but I don't have them written down. They happen consistently. I am using a PS3 (current firmware) hooked up via optical to a Harman Kardon AVR235. I am bitstreaming Dolby Digital 5.1. Video is HDMI to a Pioneer 5080. This is the only BR I have had problems with. Thanks!

3:38 - Yes
3:53 - Yes
1:35:08 - Yes

I'll check these times. (PS3 optical to Outlaw 990)

No dropouts here, but I'm all HDMI.
No dropouts here with a PS3 using the optical out for audio. I did switch to the Dolby TrueHD track even though it would just use the lossy portion for the optical output.

You said she looks 80. If you think she does then I want some of what you're smoking.

Simply put, she looks DAMN good for 63 and when she was younger was ridiculously hot.

Everyone gets old, you will one day too.

"doing necro"...?!?
Who was saying they needed to "bang" her?

I don't really know where to ask this:

i have a question with audio. I have a problem when the score is playing. It almost seems too "bass-y" for my speakers and makes a crappy rattle when it plays. anyone else having this problem? i tried making adjustments, checking the balance, turning the bass and volume down.

[and this is the only BR that has done this]. thanks.

The 3:38 and 3:53 times correspond to the bank heist scene, before and after the bank manager guy whips out his shotgun.

Actually, I just found this posted on an Amazon forum:

The last post seems to indicate that Warner Bros. is acknowledging that there might be a problem with a batch of bluray discs.

Loved her in Excalibur. Man, was she hot!
so no one has this issue?
Beware: If you have an ONKYO A/V Reciever, this disc has the same issue as the Iron Man disc: The disc triggers the L Night ( Late Night) audio feature, and lowers the power of the audio.

Just press the L Night button on your remote to turn this feature off, by turning it from AUTO to OFF.

You will then hear the full impact of the audio.

I'm not sure if only one of them fired or if they both did, I'll have to watch it again, but when gun shots go off the police tackle him. He's injured, so they handcuff him into the ambulance. Harvey is mad that Gordon was just murdered and goes to see this guy. He notices that the guy's nametag says Rachel Dawes so he drives off with him.

They all fired at the Mayor and Gordon blocked the one or several bullets that may have hit him. However, the crazy got injured by a regular cop who shot him in the leg as the Joker and his people dropped their rifles and ran after the attempt.

How did having sex with Helen Mirren ever get into a DK thread? Either someone is bored or this thread is done.

You would think with all the controversy surrounding this title there would be more to discuss. She is hot though for her age.
Someone brought Helen Mirren up when different actresses were mentioned. Someone said she looks good for 80 years old, (must've seen "The Queen" and thought that's how she normally looks. I mentioned she is not 80. TripleM said she looks it, (which is nonsense) Then he keeps mentioning "doing" her in some creepy way...

In all fairness that does sound sexual, as in 'doin it'. The suffix 'ilf' is itself sexual, as it has a word synonymous with fornication in the acronym. So I see where Mack made the assumption

And it's 'gilf' not grannilfs.

So the point of this thread is that most women are hotter than Maggie Gylenhal. ROFLMAO
Most entertaining thread of the day.
Back on topic, I'm having a different audio issue to most.

While watching it yesterday I noticed an annoying crackling distortion from some scene's, I don't believe it's clipping as I can hear the problem when I rewind the scene and play it at a much lower volume and it's happening only on dialogue so it's not in an action scene with much louder dynamic volume.

One scene for example is 32m.20s in where the dude says 'with you here now', another example is at 56m50s where bruce just finishes firing the gattling gun rounds and Alfred says 'I dont think you made it loud enough' You can hear a clear crackling noise,

I'm playing via the PS3 and I've tested with the Dolby TrueHD and Dolby Digital tracks, happens on both, I also wanted to eliminate the speakers as a cause, in 5.1 the distortion comes from the center speaker, this made it easy enough to test the speaker so I changed it to 2.1 stereo and this time it came from both L&R speakers so thats not the issue either.

Anyone else experienced this?
