HELP!!! Sharp LC-32SB24U Picture Settings - Please Post

I'm still struggling to find the right spot for all the settings. This is what I have so far, though I'm sure it's far from being truly accurate:

Picture:
OPC: On
Backlight: +2
Contrast: +24
Brightness: -8
Color: 0 (I can't figure out the sweet spot for this. Anything above +3 and colors start to bloom a bit)
Tint: 0 (I think I may need to go a bit towards green, though)
Sharpness: +2

Advanced
Color temp: Middle
Active Contrast: off
Film mode: off
Digital Noise Reduction: off

Those settings seem extremely dark. I had my settings pretty much good until I used DVE and kinda messed them up. Anyone else have settings they could share? Thanks

What did you have your settings at? Honestly, I find the settings I posted to do pretty well except in very dark scenes.

Are you using HDMI or Component. I am stuck with component at the moment as this comcast hd box has no HDMI. the -8 Brightness is what makes it so dark to me, any suggestions?

I'm using component on an SA 4250HD box with Cablevision. I'm watching NBCHD (Thursday night shows are beautiful looking) and everything looks right to me. I've noticed some issues with darkness in really dark scenes on channels like TNTHD, but I'm not sure how to compensate for that without killing the richness of the colors I'm getting now (CBSHD looks amazing especially Price is Right and CBS News)

Alright well, I will keep trying different settings. Its annoying the heck outta me.

I bought a SHARP LC-32SB21U from something called Auction Drop on Ebay last week and there was no manual in the box. I have to hit the power button more than once to get a picture. The power and OPC light both begin blinking and I have to turn the power off and back on again before I get a picture. I also had the blinking box in the upper right of the screen one night but I think it was because the signal was weak and the system was switching back and forth between mono and stereo sound.

Anyway, any help with a manual would be great since I dont think I am going to be able to get one from Auctiondrop.

I increased the backlight to +8 after having some difficulty seeing in an Xbox 360 game (Pure).

I've worked on it a bit more

Dan, I have the lc32sb220u (pretty much the same TV as the 24u) and got the blinking green lights as well. I unplugged the Tv from the wall, re-did the setup, and haven't had the blinking lights since. It does take about 10 seconds for the TV to turn on.
So I too came here to research the blinking light situation. If I find out more info I'll post it back here. How about you? Did you find a Remedy or take your TV back?

One last go round at this. I used the Monster/ISF calibration disc to help get these settings. I was way too dark before, obviously.
