Can anyone recommend a device with firewire input that can decode an hd signal from a mitsubishi dvhs that can then be displayed on an hdtv through an hdmi output. The hd signal from the mitsubishi hd vcr apparently has to be decoded before it can be displayed, and compatible Mitsubishi tvs typically do this; however, my Mitsubishi tv is dying. No one has been able to help me so far.
