The M4 with Stopping Power and RDS is my go to setup when I get tired of trying for headshots on the other weapons, when I actually get time to play a game.

The M14 is pretty good for a single shot but is a pain in the azz until you get the RDS.

The Uzi is only a beast ( for me) when paired with steady aim ( for hip firing) because its irons suck. Its also only a beast in run n gun/CQB situations. I use it only for free for all and come out top three all the time. Its not made for long range shooting ( hence the MINI uzi and its classification as SMG ) but I know what your trying to say Shin.

I saw some of you were COD4 last night, so I dusted off my copy (which hasn't been played in eons) and swiftly became a bullet sponge. I must retreat to the mountains to lift boulders and trees before re-entering the fray.

i don't know where you guys get this stuff from, the Mini-Uzi iron sights are fine, it's one of the few guns that i used to use a silencer on. then again, all of the SMG's have good iron sights, and any of them can be used silenced...

The irons are not that accurate when you factor in the kick of the recoil...in my opinion

but by your opinion, you're saying the irons suck because they're not accurate, when in fact the gun is what's not accurate. determining whether or not irons are good is simply determined by how easy it is to sight a target when looking down them. for example, the RPD has great iron sights and the M60 has horrible iron sights, because it's easy to sight a target when looking down the barrel of an RPD and not nearly as easy to sight a target when looking down the barrel of an M60. of course that doesn't mean that people don't use the M60 with irons, but those people are very few and far between...

The M4 is an outright beast with a silencer and Double Tap. If I wasn't favoring the Skorpion so much, I'd have made the M4 one of my fave guns. That's a gun that deserves a higher fire rate compared to just a bit more damage per bullet.

People seriously need to get over the whole "Stopping Power is the only 2nd perk for me" mentality. Double Tap and UAV Jammer has a crapload of uses.

The Mini-Uzi just fails simply due to it's ridiculous recoil. Almost every weapon in this game can be used effectively from close or long range. Asides from Shotguns, the Uzi is the only gun that is completely worthless at long range. I understand it's MEANT for close range, but that doesn't stop all other SMG's from owning at long range, though the MP5's kick is kinda hard to work with at long range.

I like using the golden Uzi in Vacant though. It's spraying capabilities even outdo the P90 for me. At least on that level.

I just wanna reinforce the fact that the AK's in the game are absolutely devastating, and their recoil is is not an issue once you learn that it's almost entirely vertical. Walking forward while firing with the AK47 almost negates the recoil.

i had the day off last friday and decided to try out some new combinations beyond my usual m4 - first up was the ak47. i'd done the 150 kills on a previous prestige with it and remembered liking it . . . but oh man, after a couple of hundred hours' more playtime learning the game, i can say this gun is truly vicious. it's my go-to now - rate of fire, damage, and accuracy (once you get used to the recoil, agreed) . . . heck, for fun, i was even throwing the ACOG on there and was doing pretty decent.

in fact, the lure of a gold ak47 has me seriously considering what it's going to take to get 150 headshots with the g3 and mp44, which i seem to have zero luck with - i really don't like the sights on that one.

i've got my k/d sitting at .98 right now, 18,4xx/18,8xx . . . i'm hesitant to experiment with anything too far out of the ordinary until i get back to 1.0. silly, but i made it a personal goal several weeks ago and i'm looking forward to seeing it through.

Slap Stopping Power on the MP44 and pick your shots. That thing is just as much of a beast as an AK or other high powered weapon, that usually takes 2 or 3 shots to bring someone down. The MP44 was probably one of the easiest guns to use for me. Like the M60, the key is in shooting once or twice at a time. Very anti-sniper weapons. Though I almost never use RDS with any weapon, which may be why I don't have an issue with it

The G3 is an absolutely death machine, but getting headshots with it is an entirely different headache altogether. That thing is so accurate that you HAVE to aim for the head to get headshots. Most of the weapons require only hip firing or torso shots to get a headshot here and there.

All I have left are the Shotty and Sniper headshots. >__<<br />
I may as well quit the challenges.

Did anyone notice a strange lag last nite? It only happened when I got a kill, it would stutter for about half a second, right as the +5 (or +10 in deathmatch) appears onscreen.

Wow. The M4 is an EXCEPTIONAL gun. Little recoil gives great control so you don't have to re-center onto the target. It's easily the gun I have gotten the most kills with, probably 3 times more than the AK, which would be my second most used gun.

It didn't really come out right when I said that. Basically every time I prestige I go through all the guns with the exception of sniper rifles unlocking the 150 kills bonus(or 50 for shotguns).

By the time I've got them all done I'm usually around level 50 and then I use the AK47, P90 and RPD for the most part. I've got no hatred for the gun, just others I prefer.
