52 W4100 fuzziness

Hi,

When watching ESPN in HD, I notice that when the comments that scrolls from right to left with highlights, is very fuzzy. I should have 120 hz and motion flow. Sometimes the words are fuzzy then clear then become fuzzy again. IS it only me or are other people experiencing it as well?
I get a headache when trying to read the highlight or stats.

i researched online and it seems like the motion flow was suppose to get rid of the blur ticker problem? Do I need to turn on the motion flow? I've tried changing from standard to high and to non but no difference?

Also, I notice that on 1080i when i watch hd with my hd cable box, the picture is kinda grainy up close. If you sit further away you won't notice but sometimes i walk past my tv up close and noticed that it's grainy and not crystal clear as when i saw at the store. Anyone know how to adjust to make it look clearer? It looks like areas of graininess..

I also have a 52" Sony W series although from Sam's Club and experience the same issues. As far as the scrolling on the ESPN, the 120 HZ and motion flow will not do anything to help that, since your broadcast over cable is only 60 HZ. When you play DVD's or Blue Ray you will see a huge picture difference when enabling the motion flow. When I am up close to my tv (1 or 2 feet) I also see a grainy picture, this is because a 52" has alot more pixels than say a 40". Basically, the bigger the tv the more grainy it will seem, the closer you are to it.

How's viewing sports on your set. I am getting some blur around fast motion sports like basketball, cannot stand it.

seems like we're the only one with issues or people don;t care lol..

viewing sports on my set has been great! it's just reading the ticker on espn that is annoying me.

Movies on the set has been great too.

But i think i can calibrate it better. I don;t get the super sharp picture with my comcrap hd cable box. I don;t really wanna pay 300 for professional calibration.
