I just had an ISF tech from Best buy out to Calibrate my pro-141 elite. I am having issues with the settings returning to default when i dont want them too. So i have a ps3 that i use for gaming and for bluray, and i want to use the Standard AV selection (the calibrated selection) when i'm watching bluray movies and i want to be on AV selecting GAME when playing games, but when i switch between these two AV selections it resets my Standard AV selection to default settings. I believe it has something to do with the fact that the game control preference is turned on, i think the TV must reset when i start playing a game or something, i could probably solve the problem if i turned the game preference feature off but i dont wanna lose any quality i might gain by having it turned on when i'm gaming. Does anyone actually know that that feature does? is it just for communication between the tv and the console? I'm thinking that perhaps when it's turned on that the TV isolates and uses the gaming console's processor more than if the feature was turned off.
So to recap my main question is about the gaming preference being on or off does it make a difference what does it actually do?
