Need opinion on 46pz80u - Dead Pixel

First off, love the site, so much great info in here. I have this 46pz80u plasma and I absolutely love it. I have about 130 hrs on it and did all the break in stuf. I put in the plasma break in images on an SD card and wanted to run it for a few hours a day to help further break it in to 200 hrs. Well....of course I now notice a dead pixel, its a black square. I know its only noticeable at about 3-ft, but I'm aggravated. The tv is 3 weeks old and I still have the option to exchange it.

I'm just annoyed that there is already a dead pixel and worry that more will develop since something maybe be faulty. I know a few of you have had them, but should I just exchange it? I didn't think plasma were as prone to dead pixels as lcd's are.

What do you guys think?

Exactly...I purchased the set at Sears, their return policy is that if ur not satisfied with the product, return it for full refund or exchange within 30-days.

I'm just trying to justify taking it off the wall and doing this whole swap thing. Am I just being a little crazy? I just feel like there is a very small percentage of plasma owners that have dead pixels, or maybe noone looks for them...which I wish I hadn't.

My wife thinks I'm crazy and thinks the new tv will probably have dead pixels too. I sure as hell hope not.

I know its tiny, but its aggravating. Do a lot of people deal with it? I would deal with it if I couldn't exchange it.

Thats sears return policy. I know panasonic doesn't consider it a defect unless there are 3 or more?

LOL!! So if you were in my situation, I know its only one, but is it worth the hassle to exchange it? Are the odds high that the new screen would have a dead one as well this early in the game?

True...I just have that luck I guess. I'm more worried that if one failed so soon, will my screen be more susceptible to have more failure down the road? I've read on here people having these for years and not one dead pixel.

I was scrolling through the solid colors this morning, when its on red, the pixel is white and when on green, the pixel is black. Does that means its a stuck pixel rather than a dead one?
