Hello all. I have had this samsung lcd for almost a year and a half now and I couldn't be happier with it.
I do however have one annoying problem while playing my 360 or Wii via component 1 and 2. I randomly get about a quarter inch scan line which is a blurry, white, fuzzy line that begins at the bottom of the tv and moves it's way up towards the middle, usually taking about 4-5 seconds. I always thought it was my console until it did this on my Wii, and it's been going on for probably a year.
I have everything hooked up to a monster power center including the coaxial cable line which has basic comcast cable running through it.
I have tried different things such as unhooking all unnecessary cables other than the console inputs and the problem still occurs.
I work at best buy and talked to our samsung rep about this issue and he mentioned that the panel is most likely defective and I would probably have it junked out for a new panel.
I still have a year and a half left on my service plan so I was wondering if I should have a tech come out to check the problem.
Could this be a defective panel? Thanks
