Why not stop posting until we get the new firmware, this will mean that when you receive a mail about update in this thread, then it will be about the new firmware. This would be perfect.

It is 1.02 because the new firmware is still missing the real improtant things (as mentioned in the first post). DVD Menu support will be still missing! and thats a shame for a Media Player (even if it costs below 100 bucks).

Couldn't agree more, very frustrating currently receiving an email only to see a totally pointless post.

Just in:
The new firmware will activate the heat pump integrated in every WDTV unit, in order to prevent further overheating and chrashes.
This feature was forgotten in recent firmware versions, and modders didn't know about it also.

Just kidding.

Croatia expects the new firmware will support "ČĆŽŠĐčćžšđ" and tags.
In case there is a garbage between the quotes, the AVS forum doesn't support Croatian diacritics also.
