From what I've seen from the last year or so, about every 6 months & it might be that long before they are back in stock!

They ran a Fourth of July sale, then they ran a back to school sale and most recently the Black Friday sale. It happens several times a year, judging from the past 6 months. Granted, the discounts always vary, but there's been plenty of sales.

Not all salels were for the 55's though, which is what he's inquiring about.

This is true, but I know I've seen several sales in the last year and more than a couple of them had those towers discounted, so it was more than twice a year.

I don't know. Unless they can clarify on their site that the hot amp issues has been fix (it seems they don't). Even at 299 I'll still not risk it.

Most of them were "b" stocks sold at 1/2 the price. They came with slight scratches or blemishes. If it isn't a big deal you should go for it. I read most buyers were happy with them.

I bought the pair of 55's on black friday to make my first setup, but wanted to get the small center as well. The specs say 21.75 inches wide and my cabinet's center area is also stated to be 21.75 but it is one 32nd or so smaller than such. most things are not right on the money, can anyone with the smaller center measure the exact width of theirs for me? maybe i can grease one in there.

From my experience (two purchases)...EMPtek always ships ahead of their suggested days. I got both my towers (E5ti) and my center a day sooner that THEY told me I would, and no, I am not complaining! of ocurse, both items I purchased were in stock! Great sounding speakers (and looking, unless your dog knocks one over and scrathces it!), btw!

They are shipping... I got my notice the other day.

Fantastic setup! I can't wait for my E55Ti's to arrive, what receiver/amp are you powering your setup with?

This goes to show anyone with not so much cash can always get a great sounding system with drop dead gorgeous looks. Your set looks awesome, and pricey 7K pricey..

BTW those Subs from my end they looks a whole lot bigger than 10" woofers more like 15"

TV is a 60" and that damn center channel almost runs the entire length of the TV, underneath.

I'm going to be powering mine POSSIBLY with my Yamaha 663. Might have a couple people interested in it though and cant decide if its worth selling it or not. Ive got the JBL MS-8 in my car (along with a lot of other stuff) and I really like the tune. I know what the tune is..or the general curve...but im not sure if something like Denons MultiEQ (XT too possibly) gives the same curve. Anyone know?

Is it worth upgrading my 663 to something like the Denon 1713 or 1913? Maybe even something else like a nice Pio. Not into Onkyo's.
Looks good!! Ill be in the market for a sub soon. My room is 20x18 with 12 ceilings & very open. Figured the EMP dual 10's wouldn't be enough. I had a PA-120 & it was okay at best. Pretty sloppy, weak low bass & boomy. Spoiled from my car. You're setup looks good though with one on each side. Still liking the e55ti's & all the rest??

I love the speakers! And for the price, I'd make love to them, if it was possible! That said, they sound phenomenal. And having two of these subs is earth shattering. Obviously, the specialty subwoofer companies are better, but for what I paid for these two woofers, they can't be beat. The windows behind my TV sound like they're going to shatter when these things get rumbling.

Though I've owned dual Hsu VT3 mk4 I must admit that looking at your dual 1010i makes me jealous. They simply look 100 times hotter. Fap fap fap...

I was actually looking to buy that RX-V663 when I first got in to this because of its good amp section, however they messed up and sent me the 665 instead, I decided to keep it. I think that is probably plenty of receiver. If you want to upgrade, get a pioneer elite, or maybe even consider a processor and discrete amp from emotiva.

Nope. And I was told shortly after I ordered that they wouldn't go out until the 10th.

Yes, I got the email last week, ordered on the 23rd shipped on the 29th.

Yeah that's what it said on their website and in the e-mail. GregoryPerkings said he already got an e-mail stating it was being shipped, but I don't know if he ordered over BF or not.


I can't remember if the BF sale had started on the 23rd or not. Maybe that's why you're getting yours early
