I'm canceling Showtime and Starz at the end of the month. Will probably add Showtime back when Weeds or Californication returns.
Well for HBO, they do have Treme, followed by True Blood, and msot Likely Entourage......Right after the summer series we lead into the fall with Boardwalk Empire
Weeds should\\may be coming back this summer as well for Showtime, which will lead into Dexter.....
I was personally thinking of doing the same thing, but in the end it seems all my shows lead itno one another and even if they dont there is only a month or two of break where I may catch something else...(especially for Showtime with Boxing (HBO as well) and MMA)
OK, ok enough of that..
What can I say it was a great finale, this show has evolved so much from the first few episodes that its almost a totally different show (feel wise)...I think it was said best in an interview with Lawless that the show didnt start really getting good until after the 5th or so episode
I was happy that even though they showed blood it wasnt all CGI, slow-mo type effects and that they kept it to a few scenes that deserved it.....There were some over the top blood scenes (blood on the screen after the gaurd was killed), but that is a staple of the show so well ahve to live with it here and there...Very well acted episode with a lot of twists and turns...Hopefully Andy gets well and fully recovers so that the show can go on (reports are that he will)....It will be very interesting to see how they take the rebellion in the next season...
