Whoa! Bradley! Haven't seen you around in ages... How's it going? Any upgrades we haven't heard about?

Bradley's definitely deserve to be on here. Not only are they awesome but his build is a great one to watch out for if you are looking to put that big ol' 18 in a big, vented box sub ('box' as in not sonotube based) but don't quite want to take up the floorspace that mine consume.

Hey, Scott. Yeah, I'm still around. I'm going through what can only be described as "1080p projector madness" right now. The subs are still serving me very well and frightening my guests on a regular basis. I just fixed all the broken links for the pictures in my build thread, though, so I figured it was worth adding to the list. I think if I had to do over again, I might do smaller cabinets with passive radiators, though. It's a DISEASE, I tell ya. A disease!

That's a great idea, actually!

I briefly brought that up (to an extent) with SteveNN in a PM. It's the main reason I like to write so much about a project after it's finished to best represent the actual performance to be had. Most people just stop updating their thread once they are done. Maybe just a couple sentences about how great their new stuff sounds. Of course it sounds great, it's new and better than what you just had. Lolz! Hahaha.

I never did think about things I'd do differently when I finished my twins. Just that I wanted a 2nd pair. Hahaha! I wanted MOAR!

On that note, when it comes time to start a build thread on the quad sealed setup soon, I will update and possibly add a "closer" to my twins build thread for anyone else that may still actually read that thing. Actually, I really need to update and clean up that thread anyway. Add some new REW graphs....all that. Heheh.

Hey guys, I am looking at building a couple subs that would be very similar to the HSU MBMs. Has anybody done this before? I am wanting to use 12" drivers with plate amps and I would want to cross them over between 50hz and 150hz. I have no experience building subs so I would need as much detail as humanly possible. Thanks.

also, I would want them downfiring if possible.

there will be, when i can pick my drivers and amps. but they won't be fancy.

I am waiting for a few finishing touches and testing of the cabs before I submit my system. Soon, hopefully.
