"Scrubs" on ABC HD - Page 4

This season has been awesome. I love all the call backs - Janitor questioning if he was in The Fugitive was hilarious.

I can't believe that someone spoiled a possible (probable?) future guest appearance earlier in the thread. I don't read external threads or articles for a reason. Not that big a deal in the grand scheme of life, but still annoying.

KIMBLE!

Yeah, I missed a lot of the first few seasons.

Has anyone else's ABC been screwing with Scrubs air times? Here in Peoria they haven't aired Scrubs in the correct time slot for 2 weeks straight. I don't think they even aired the episodes last week, and this week they aired them in SD at 12:00am after Jimmy Kimmel. Is there anything I can do to get them to stop this?

Are they showing local college basketball or something in your area?

They showed some Operation Smile thing last night. Don't remember what they aired last week.

+1, Jo is my favorite new character and I hope she sticks around, so hot! Plus, she made out with Sunny which was also hot.

So far, it looks like the producers like her too, since they "fired" Ed and Katie only had like 2 speaking roles this week, and one of them was wearing the giant Beardface costume!

It took JD all night to sew the Beardface costume.

I was hoping for more skits during the show but they only did a few.

I was just excited to hear the Guy Love theme song!!

At the seminary I go to, Tuesday Nights of Wings and Beer is no longer known as "Guy's Night" it has been Guy Love since the musical episode

It went HD but become boring and sappy. Oh, well. Now I will wait for the first 4 or so seasons (the better ones) to be released in HD, or at least in WS SD. I wonder why they did not release the show in WS SD at the first place, when they did DVD release? Ugh.

It was shot in 4:3 up until this year, so no widescreen masters exist.

Inwood used his own Aaton XTR prod camera and Canon zoom lenses. He composed images in 4:3 format, while protecting for 16:9 aspect ratio so episodes could be aired in HD format when the market evolved

Audio is all screwed up on Toledo's ABC tonight. Scrubs has no center channel, no voices. Sounds like only surrounds and rears. Anyone else noticing this, or is it a local problem. Commercials sound fine....

It was fine here.

"Git yo strut on!"
That young Taye Digg-ish looking intern played Cyborg on Smallville. Took me 5 minutes trying to figure out who he was.

weird episode. seemed like it was an early ep they forgot to air, at first. because why would they be introducing the interns now. but of course details showed it wasn't. Still, weird ep.

Without seeming like too much of a troll, I nevertheless must press onward...

Don't more than one or two of you notice that there was a severe slide in quality in Scrubs over its run? I thought at least the first three seasons were brilliant, but they moved the show and I lost track of it. I sort of returned in what was probably season six, but there was something terribly wrong with the writing and the performances. The actors just were not relating to one another any more. The quips were still there, the surreal flashbacks still there, but everything just seemed by the numbers. I figured one of the reason it ended was that everyone wanted out.

I have the DVDs of those first three years. The third year ends with Elliot furious with JD at Turk and Carla's wedding, and that seemed a good, albeit dark way to say goodbye to the series.

Is it better again? I guess I need to check it out.

Seeing Howie make out with that hot girl was great...and he got her down to her bra...pretty classy

He sure pulled an "Annexation of Puerto Rico" on her

I've loved this entire season with the exception of last week's, but this week's was back in top form. I need to get me some of that side boob too.

I posted this elsewhere, but I thought it pertinent for here
