2009 Panasonic 12G Plasma Line-Up - Page 134

What is the differences between the 2 65" models?

The v10 just adds 24p to the s1? And is 1k more

I really don't want to spend more then 3k though but want 24p

I have a 67" sam lamp based dlp so concerned about downgrading 2" but have been told that the plasma picture will be so much better then dlp (even led dlp) that I won't miss the 2"

as long as the 65" comes with a stand xus I can't walk mount in the space it would go in.

I ordered the sam 67" led dlp for 3k even though it was sellig for 1500 a few months ago because Noone has it left but one merchant who claims they paid a lot for it and know that noone has it but a lot of ppl still want it. Either way it's a major ripoff.

I really prefer the casing of the samsung led lcds over the usually plain and ugly pannys but now I hear plasma realy is better then LCD and smsungs largest plasma is 63" and I know the pioneer plasmas and then pnnus are the best with the smsungs 63" below that and I need 65" or bigger coming from a 67"

am interested in the coming Mitsubishi laservue dlp specifically the a91 diamond series 67" which is excited because the past and current lamp based Mitsubishi dlp's jumped from 65 (too small) to 73 (too big) while 67" is the sweet spot for me for my one room and the other room I have a 61" led dlp I would maybe upgrade to 63 or 65 but may want to stick wiyh around 61 as it's a basent hoe theatre used mostly for playing games and while for 360 I sometimes think I wouldn't mind it bigger froM
where I sit but for standing in front of the tv for wii I don't think I'd want it bigger because you keep wanting to stand back and then I'm hitting the sofa.

I got interested in the panny 65s1 cus it will be 3k or less and coming soon and as kong as it comes with a stand then my only concerns will be the 2" s
smaler then mycurrent 67" and whether I will like the aesthetics of the casi g or not since usually pannys are plain and ugly to me and I like samsung designs best.

But then I see it looks like the s1 won't have 24p and the 65v10 will be 4k?

Either way I guess I should cancel the 67" sam led dlp order for a ripoff 3k and consider the panny 65s1 or v10?

If plasma really is thebest display technology and panny is the best after pioneer which isn't making new models? And alsodoesnt have larger then 60" andvis more expensive then iguess panny plasmas are the way to go.

I just wish they made a 67" plasma with all the specs of the v10 and with attractive glass casing like the samsung, includes a stand and is 3k or less.... One can dream

Yea - don't encourage that rip-off company (Electrozone) by buying the Samsung 67a750 for an obscene $3k. I'd feel raped every time I watch it...

yeah but pay 4k for 2" smaller with the panny 65v10?

i figured id get the 67" led dlp now and offset the cost by selling my current lamp based 67" dlp and then wait for prices to come down on the panny 65v10 which i figured is going to be awhile because its not even out yet.

Just get the 65S1. It's a large set for a good price. You won't even miss 24p more than likely and it's surely not worth $1000. Forget dlp. It's garbage.

Panasonic has finally announced the addition of the 58" and 65" to the V10 line-up in Japan (no 54"); availability is mid-September. It will be interesting to see if they become available here in August as the Panny USA website says.
