Upgrading Micra 6 Front Three for <$500?

I'm thinking about upgrading the L/C/R speakers from the Micra 6 setup I have now. I can only budget <$500 for this but I'm not sure if that's a enough to make it worthwhile. This is 100% home theater and there may or may not be size restrictions, depending upon whether I wall mount them or not.

If I wall mount them, the L/R need to be less than 8" wide and preferably <7" deep, which doesn't give many options but I've found a few:

If they are not wall mounted, only the height is a problem; should be less than 12"-15" probably.

In either of these cases, for HT use, would upgrading on my budget make sense? I have no problem with the speakers right now, but I've also never really heard much better due to a lack of dealers near me. I realize many of these manufacturers offer 30-day in home trials, but I'd like to get some experienced advice before I resort to that. Thanks in advance.

Nobody has upgraded from these speakers or even compared them to something <$500?
