By the time I finish playing a game the disc isn't worth anything in trade.
I'm kinda with you on that when it comes to the single player heavy games. I don't mind buying Game2 when Game3 gets released. Usually means Game2 will be dirt cheap even new.

Kind of a deal, but not really. If you file your taxes with Turbo Tax you can choose to get a portion of your federal back in amazon gift cards with an extra 10% to boot.

Chose to have $600 of my federal go to amazon gift card so that I would essentially get $60 of "free" money ($660 amazon e-card code to be emailed to me). Good deal if you use amazon to buy things you actually need or would purchase otherwise (diapers, etc....)

Don't know anything about the game, but you can download Lococycle for $9.99 on the One. Anyone know if it is worth a play-thru. Or even worth ten bucks.

Maybe, got some OK reviews and some really bad reviews:

http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-one/lococycle

Kinda reminds me of how Ryse was received by critics. I loved Ryse, so I guess you can't always trust the media outlets, go figure.

From Gaming Trends review:
Quote:
I enjoyed Lococycle, but only after abandoning my sensibilities as I’ve learned to do when playing games from Twisted Pixel. To the uninitiated, Lococycle will prove rather perplexing as it isn’t like most games. However, players looking for a short game filled with tons of laughs and ridiculous gameplay will feel right at home. Lococycle won’t wow anyone with its graphics, combat system, or replayability, but it just might be the thing you are looking for in your attempts to kill a boring afternoon.

I might pick this up for $10.....

I'm guessing Lococylce will be one of the first games for gold free games offered on the One. I'll wait and see. If I get it for free, I can't complain and if they never offer it then my wife isn't ruined by missing it.

Amazon has the One listed for $450 at the moment.

That was my first impression.

That was the quickest sale they ever had. Was deciding if I was going to buy it for my daughter's birthday and I guess I shouldn't have waited.

It was not filled by Amazon, so the quantities were very limited. When I ran across it there was only one left. Was tempted, but I don't have my media room ready for it yet.

Check your gold box daily. Mine 2 days ago had the Xbox 1. The gold box usually gives 5% off, not much but something.

Newegg has $10 Newegg gift card for preordering Titanfall for any version...

Microsoft Store is offering $10 Xbox gift card code for preorder.

Anyone know if you can setup the XB1 to automatically download games you buy on store.xbox.com? The last game I bought using this method, I had to go into the XB1 and then start the download.

Wow, seems like a pretty valid question to me. I don't know maybe I'd like to buy something at work or remotely and have it download and be ready for me when I get home.

I know, I was just poking fun at our first world problems. I actually used this feature when I was in Tokyo a couple months ago and saw Lego Marvel on sale for PS4 and purchased and had it download 5,500 miles away.

Well that 29.99 didn't last long. lol
That sucks....Lego Marvel Superhereos was $30 from almost day one, even at the evil GameStop.

We need a $30 sale on the Lego The Movie Game. Really want to buy but I don't want to buy ****.

As of today, there are zero reviews, and no user feedback here or on Metacritic, etc. Quite odd actually.

It must really suck or everyone owes big bucks on taxes for 2013 and games are no longer an option.

Not sure if it will solve your problem, but there's a firmware update hitting tomorrow that will enable auto-downloads of future updates. It might also apply to game purchases.

That seems like a really weird feature to be missing, especially since the 360 will download any waiting purchases the moment you turn it on.

And, so this post isn't completely off topic, 12-Month Xbox Live Gold cards/codes are again $40 at the MS website.

That's a pretty good deal compared to : Newegg's Shell Shocker, later today...(Xbox One, COD Gosts) ... they have been running a couple of these lately.
You actually get a choice of launch titles... on the Walmart deal...
