I missed the Target deal. frown.gif So depressed.

Actually, looks like Best Buy has the Titanfall bundle for $449 and if you buy 12 month gold at same time, it's $40. Not as good as Target but not bad. Thoughts??

If the Target deal is no longer good then that would be the best one. Otherwise the target deal gave you the same thing, but for $449 instead of paying an extra $40.

Fry's has one of those cart deals for the Xbox One for $459.99. You get Titanfall and Forza 5.
Target has a similar deal with Forza and 12 months of XBL for $450 this week.

That deal at Fry's is for in-store only.

How long do you think that the $449 xbox one with titanfall deal will last, or is just going to stay at that price?

Last few weeks have seen these deals available regularly at various sellers. Fry's is only until the 17th; The bundled Forza deals seems to not have an expiration date, which is good, but I recall reading that MS store would only offer the discounted prices for a short while, but no specific date. Be great if a permanent price drop happened before E3.

My guess is these sales last until Easter then they will go away for a while.

and as far as the Target Titanfall Bundle deal goes, don't forget you also get an additional 5% off if you have their Red Card, so it's around $427 plus tax after that discount too...

I do have a target red card and that is a good idea which will save a few more dollars if I decided to get it. Thanks for the reminder!

Does target have the titanfall and forza bundle?

Xbox 360 Spring Sale and This Week’s Deals with Gold

They really ought to start having these sales for XB1 games, but I suppose that with such a tiny list thereof it's difficult. Single XB1 games have gone on sale now and then.

Agree. With PS+ subscribers getting Resogun for free and a game every month since... MS is really dropping the ball here.

Meh--I don't envy PSN subscribing PS4 owners RESOGUN, though MS could give Gold members Powerstar Golf or something. The thing that I envy PS4 owners is the fact that Amazon has PS4 and PS3 DD codes to sell, which they sometimes discount independently of the PSN price (though unfortunately Amazon's price for the disc is often the better deal). MS needs to do this with XB1 and 360 DD codes.

I actually have been buying the $100 MS cards for 20% off at Newegg recently. Its the good ole "spacebucks" days! I will not be paying full retail for a one game for a very long time.

It expands to PS3 and PS Vita titles as well, some AAA third party titles are offered for free. Additionally the discounts are nice as some games can be had for well over 50% off. MS does well with feature updates imo, which Sony isn't exactly a pioneer on frown.gif

I notice that MS has recently started to have some sale prices which are only available to Gold members; I guess that's analogous to PSN+ discounts.

This has been standard practice for years for Gold members.

Rayman: Legends for the 360 is $21.99 at Amazon.

Amazon also has South Park: The Stick of Truth for $39.99.

Rayman is pretty awesome if you enjoy platformers IMHO. Great couch co-op.

No--until just recently every DD sale price was available to everyone. Now, some are only available to Gold members. For instance, as I write this, Injustice: Gods Among Us is on a 50% sale for Gold members only. The price on the "Buy Game" button at the top of the page is the normal one; if you go down to the game underneath the screenshots and overview pane, there is a "Gold Exclusive Price" displayed in gold letters above the normal price. In contrast, the Borderlands 2 DD is on sale to everyone for 65% off it's normal $20 price; the only price listed on its page is the sale price.

All "This Week’s Xbox Live Store Deals" are now marked, "Xbox 360 Deals of the Week are for Xbox Live Gold members". AFAICT, the first time that happened was 25 February this year. I buy almost all of my games for the past few years as DDs on sale; I noticed the change.

If you mean recently as in 2009 then I agree, but otherwise this is not a recent policy.

Hmmm. You may be right--they're just presenting it differently. They must have previously shown the deal price if you were logged into a Gold account; now they show the regular price and that "Gold Exclusive Price". If you didn't see the weekly sales list, you wouldn't otherwise know that your investment in a Gold membership was getting you this great price.

Now they're calling it "Deals with Gold".
