Question re Intel GL40 chipset and Intel GMA 4500MHD

Can anybody confirm whether or not the Intel GL40 chipset supports AVC and VC-1 hardware decode capability. According to the Intel website the chipset has the GMA 4500MHD which is supposed to have the hardware decode support, but according to this wikipedia link it does not??
