Can I use 16:9 and 2.35:1 screen with Panny AE3000 lens zoom?

I have a motorized drop-down 123 inch 16:9 screen. I was thinking of getting the Panny AE3000 and mounting a fixed 2.35 screen on the wall directly behind the 16:9 screen. This would allow me to have best of both worlds by filling both screens without any overshoot. Will this work? Thanks.

Yes as the lens for 2.35:1 mode is able to be memorized. BUT, you would have to refocus since there is no way to not have some distance between screens. I am not 100% sure, but I do NOT believe you can save focus in memory (just zoom).

Just confirm that focus is saved in the lens memory. It's best to save the three memories once the PJ has warmed up as I find mine drifts a little from cold, but if I use one of the presets then, once it's warmed up, the focus is very consistant.

I'm not in the habit of contradicting Jason, but on this occasion, I think I'm on safe ground as an AE3000 owner myself.
