Any USB external hd to backup those movie clips and pictures. Preferrable small enough to fit in the same camera bag. That is one feature I really like about this camera is saving to an external hard drive without the need of a PC. Because of this I don't think I will need a 32GB SD card anytime soon.
It would have been perfect if the Sanyo can take a USB powered 2.5" external HDD. As it is, you need to have a self-powered HDD which means you need the much bigger 3.5" external HDD. Thus I took along a Maxtor Basics 640GB external HDD with my HD2000 for my just concluded holidays in Turkey. It worked perfectly as described in the manual but three points need to be noted.
1. You need to bring along all the required inter-connecting cables and power cables; quite a handful.
2. Two power points are needed near to each other, one for the HD2000 and one for the HDD.
3. When you transfer the data from the SD cards to the HDD, make sure it is done in the chronological order that they are used or the files will be stored and numbered in the order that it is transfered.
