I have tried everything.
Since the DVDs are playing with terrific Surround Sound I know that my HDMI cable is working.
So why will it not pick up the Audio out from my LC-52D85UN through the HDMI cable?
So, I talk to Sharp and hear is what they say.
Because I have an HD Cable box and use an HDMI cable for it, it is cancelling out the sound from the HDMI cable attached to my surround sound system.
I would have to revert back to the old HD cables in order to hear surround sound while watching cable tv.
So, I have to decide which is more important.
The 1080i that I get while using the HDMI cable or having surround sound.
What a bummer.....
