Vista (x64) doesn't allow me to select refresh rates higher than 30 Hz on my LCD TV that's connected to my computer via HDMI -> DVI cable. My TV natively supports only 50 Hz and 60 Hz and as a result, I get very laggy HD videos when I play them on my LCD TV. However, if I play them on my 22" monitor, I get smooth playback. However, I am able to select 50 Hz and 60 Hz if I change the color depth to 16-bit...
I was able to select higher refresh rates back in XP so I'm assuming it's got something to do with the operating system.
Any ideas?
