AVOID: "Living Temples" - Revenge of the old baraka Eco-Scratcher Blu-ray Case!!

Heads up for people, the movie "Living Temples" put out by Third Planet Productions uses the garbage eco case that baraka used to use. Might want to avoid the release until it is available in a standard Blu-ray case, as these eco cases are flimsy and can damage the disc. No way to get it out without scratching it or getting fingerprints all over it.

UPDATE:

Here's a cover I slapped together quick for LIVING TEMPLES:

I print custom covers for my replacement Blu-ray cases, so the packaging issue is non-eventful for me.

How was the movie itself? Is it worth getting on the technical merits alone?

I am going to watch it tonight and see. I also print replacement covers for crappy cases.

But, it had two sizable scratches near the edge brand new right out of the package thanks to the crappy case. I was able to buff them into smaller scratches using a microfiber cloth, but very annoying for a $20+ product.

initial impressions.

BD25 MPEG4 AVC

4 soundtracks.

two dolby digital music only (5.1 & 2ch) I believe 640kbps.
two DTS-MA tracks w/ voice guide (5.1 & 2ch).

Noticed some banding, might be my equip.

Quality of footage varies wildly, some breathtaking, some looks like upscaled SD. There is noise throughout the feature, some of it natural grain, some of it looking like weird digital noise/artifacting. There is one shot in particular around 6:50 that has really really bizarre and noticable digital artifacting in the blacks. Music is nice.

I'll try to post screengrabs tomorrow.

I've seen the thread. I just couldn't care less what the cover or case look like. My original comment was meant to be sarcastic.

Based on these screencaps, this master looks like is a mix of HD and SD, no? Possibly even SD upscale?

One of the things I hated about DVD was all the non-uniform cardboard packaging, Warner's snappers, Simpsons, Aliens. There's nothing special about effing cardboard, enough with the cardboard cases and slipcovers. I wish somebody would enforce the standard for our sake. Looks like the same nonsense is rearing its ugly head again.
